So far this summer we have not gone swimming once, very hard to believe considering me and the kiddos usually hit up the pool the week summer school gets out. Well due to Little Miss and her week and a half long bout with pink eye, we have steered clear of the pool. We went to a pool party/BBQ at a friend from work of the sweets and had a blast. The kiddos literally stayed in the pool from the time we got there up until the time we went home which was well after dark. Of course they took a few small breaks to eat, but for the most part they were loving that pool! It is a salt water pool too which is even better!! Little Miss took to the water like a champ, considering the year before she stayed on the steps. Nope not this year, she was going back and forth the whole time, going under water and she even tried going around the edge up until the deep end to see how far she could get. Which of course caused me to leap out of my chair which was right next to the pool and almost fall in myself lol lol! We are going to have a few busy weeks ahead of us so we won't get to enjoy the water, but hopefully soon :)
